GREAT charger
I think this is an awesome product. Since concept, they have improved the charger with a surge protector now, which should handle the GFI problem some people were having.
You can stack two of them together which also helps with the weight of some items. You can STILL plug in your tablets with the USB connection and leave your tablet on the counter if you are concerned about the weight. Great item and the owners took pride in the manufacturing.
They listen to all comments and have adapted when they can to make an even better product.

Love this product!! I use it every day for my iPhone but have also seen it used by my guests. Looks nice, well made and attractive. Love to take when I travel because hotels NEVER have enough outlets. Buying more for gifts

Works great. Great quality. I'm charging 2 items right now and powering a heater. A solid product. Had another outlet charging item (Prime) that kept the cords tangled and lit up the whole room, AND would fall out of the wall when I put my tablet on it to charge. [But] these... are discreet, and well made.
The little button on the back that raises or lowers the plug to allow charging with a case on is fricken genius.

Great Product for Efficiency and space saving. A smart buy for anyone with charging issues
Couldn't be happier with [mine]. I am now able to plug in 5 different electronic devices without having to worry about any of them running out or not having sufficient battery. I also save a lot of space not having to use an extension cord.
I am most impressed with the stand-up ability for my tablet on the top that I way I can see messages and e-mail without having to get up.

Very Handy
Allows me to have multiple charging areas around the house without cords dangling from them or wondering where I put the cord. Works great for my Samsung Note 4, my Kindle Fire, and my wife's iPad mini.

I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone
So, I got this as a gift for Christmas and it has defied my expectations. It is convenient for my phone, and I am able to plug in and charge my and my wife's fit bits. I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone. Of course, based on the instructions, you have to be careful with certain things like pulling it forward, but they make several notes to watch out for that. I am a fan!

I love this handy device! Use it constantly!
This thing is great! It's not perfect. But it's very cool. It isn't like the other similar products--no cords on the counter (unless need for another device) & it does charge an iPad mini without a problem.
I love that I can walk through my kitchen & instead of setting my phone on the counter I pop it in the charger. Because of its power capacity it boosts the charge quickly. AND we have both the toaster & the coffee pot plugged into the same outlet. My husband has an extra battery pack, so his bulky phone will not fit on the top, like my phone, but he just plugs a USB in the bottom.

Skip the cables. This works as promised.
Great space and mess-saving product. The plugs hold amazingly tightly, so it can support plenty of weight. The most clever part may be the way tips adjust up and down to allow charging whether you are using a phone case or not. I can't help but wonder if those having trouble charging inside a case don't realize there's a button on the back that adjusts the height of tip. In my case, using an iPhone 6 in a thick protective case, the tip looked right, but I initially got the dreaded ""this accessory isn't support."" As soon as I adjusted the tip up slightly, it worked perfectly.

You may want to get just one to try out
One of these will charge three devices, one on top and two from cords on the bottom, and still leave two sockets available. But unless you have an unusual situation, you may want to try one to see how you use it. I thought I would use one at my bathroom sink. I can't. This device can't be inserted in a ground-fault socket because it won't fit. New Samsung Galaxy phones and probably many others have a door over the USB that won't swing out of the way. So those cannot be charged on top without a cord.

This product is brilliant. I have Iphone, iPad, Kindle, Fire....They all can be charged with the interchangeable tips. The units are sturdy and when 2 are connected to add additional devices, they are solidly connected; it takes a good pull to separate them again.
Packaging is great, instructions are truthful and clearly address any of the naysayers here. When you spend serious money on phones, tablets and other gadgets, treat them kindly and they'll do their job. In the past, any of my devices could have had problems charging if the carry case interferes with the connection, I don't plug it in correctly or in some other way, inhibit the charge to happen. I love all 7 of mine!

I have needed something exactly like this to charge my phone from my kitchen. I'm the kind of person that likes to have places all over the house to charge my devices, rather than the type that has to look all over the house for something to charge my devices with. This charger is perfect for my needs. It allows me to keep the electrical outlets free for other needs, while also giving me the freedom to charge my device. My favorite use for it thus far is to charge my phone in the kitchen, while I listen to a podcast from it, while washing the dishes. If you want a product like this that just works, than this is it.

So convenient!
This adapter works great! I love that I can leave it plugged in in my kitchen and I can still use other appliances in the same plug. I also LOVE that I don't have to move my charger up and downstairs and this little convenient charger is always available in the kitchen. We've used it for both our iPhones and also we've used the usb plug on the bottom to charge the ipad. Has worked wonderfully!

great way to convert an existing outlet into a phone charger - we have 2 of them so we can charge while watching tv or in the kitchen without relocating a cable charger. added plus - no cable to get in the way and I don't have to wonder where I left it! works with my iPhone as well as my iPad and my wife's iPhone too.

Check you outlet. They must be vertical.
This can only charge your items if your outlets are vertical. Mine were all horizontal so I had to return it.

Love it!
Looks neat and sleek and charging the phone on wall is almost like having the advantages of both and line and mobile. Holds my phone or tablet well facing either direction unless the outlet is old and worn out. Even then it works if I face my device toward the wall. Great thing is that it doesn't keep drawing power like other chargers. Good for the environment. I will order more!

I really like the convenience of using the charger
I really like the convenience of using the charger. It frees up space and there are no cords for me. I am very careful placing my phone on it and taking it off. Probably over cautious about the flexibility. I would definitely buy it again.

Worth it
I wanted one as soon as I saw the ad, but first a tried a couple other similar devices that were cheaper. Ended up ditching then and buying this anyway. The quality is great, it does exactly what it says it will do. Looks good, has a very minimalist form factor. Stays in the power socket and does not pull out when you add or remove devices.

My problem with this charger is I don't have outlets ...
My problem with this charger is I don't have outlets high up they are all down toward the floor and it doesn't make it convenient. However, I am going to call my electrician and have him install a club above my counter. Thank you.

Great project and product!
"I received my order and quickly decided how many I would give as gifts and how many I would keep. It was hard to give any of the first ones away! I love that I no longer have to go looking for cords and particularly love it for travel. Not all hotel rooms have convenient outlets but usually one that is visible.

I love my SmileyCharger!
I love mine. The tips store nicely on the back side. The charging tips are mage well. It's a very nice system overall. My Razr Maxx HD has a side charging port a the far end of the phone, so to avoid the weight of the phone pulling down on the opposite side, I simply attached a small silicone half-circle nub which the phone rests on to keep level. No biggie! Much nicer than having cables everywhere. I haven't utilized the USB ports on the bottom yet, but only because I don't have many devices.

YES! with one suggestion
I like the multi functionality of this product. You can charge multiple devices (one on top and two on bottom with usb cables) and still have available outlets for tv's, laptop cables, etc. I offer just one recommendation to the makers; design adjustable padded clamps, that can hold tablets and phones securely in place while charging for stability, correct detachment, and peace of mind. Very portable, multi functioning power port for your many devices and cables.

Great. Now we always know where the iPhone is-it's on our charger! Nice that you do not lose any outlets because we have our in the kitchen and use those outlets frequently. Holds our iPad-mini just fine while charging too. Would make a great gift.

We're ready for whoever needs a boost!
I bought four of these -- a couple for our residence and a couple for a summer house. What I like is that it has a universal micro USB (that is, universal in 2016), and my set came with Apple Lightening charging connectors, so we're ready for whoever needs a boost while visiting. It charges quickly, wires are not included (I HATE wires) and it's unobtrusive.
Problem, as pointed out by others -- tablets aren't welcomed. I have an 8"" Kindle Fire that bent forward and sideways, and if the charging port on your device is off-center, that's a problem (which can be overcome, but it's annoying).

After only a week we've fallen in love with it
Got this as a gift and weren't sure how/if we'd use it. After only a week we've fallen in love with it. We can charge two devices at once and still have plugs available for other things on the counter. Very cool!

Does not quite work as advertised.
The 7" Kindle Fire will sit on top to charge, but the 8.9" just falls off. Also my LG phone will not charge while the cover is on. Disappointing as I do not want to remove the cover just to charge the phone..

What a handy item to use when traveling. I love mine. Many hotel rooms skimp on electrical outlets and the this takes up the slack. No more jockeying with my wife for the few available phone/tablet, etc. charging venues while on the road.

We've designed an adjustment system, so you can fine-tune the height to be just right for nearly any case. The very thickest cases don’t work well, as they prevent the charger from making a firm connection or sitting securely on top of the device.
The good news is that many of the elements of this first version (the electronics, the tips, etc) will be identical for other versions, so they will be much quicker to develop when the time comes.
GFI outlets (frequently have the red and black “reset” buttons built into them) are not standard sized outlets so we often don’t fit into a GFI outlet.
